Additions documenting the writing career of Neal Barrett, Jr.

The papers of magazine editor, playwright, novelist, and screenwriter, William Broyles, Jr., span the years 1962 to the 2002 and are arranged into the following series: Personal Papers, Magazines, Books (Published and Unpublished), Plays, Television Projects (General, Produced, and Unproduced), Film Projects (Produced and Unproduced), Writings by Others, and Videocassettes.

Literary papers of Fred Gipson, including drafts of several of Gipson’s short stories, screenplays, and one nonfiction autobiographical piece.

The collection is composed of 21 boxes of manuscripts, galley proofs, notes, clippings, correspondence, artwork, financial and legal papers, screenplays, photographs and artifacts, spanning from 1971 to 2000, that document Stephen Harrigan's writing career.

The papers of filmmaker and writer Severo Perez span 1972-2010 and document his career in film and television, and as a writer. The bulk of the collection relates to his film work, especially his 1995 film, …and the earth did not swallow him.

The collection contains a copy of the screenplay for the 1975 novel Country Music, a copy of a typescript of the 1989 novel Buffalo Nickel, and an issue of the Poseidon Press Spring Selections 1989 containing an excerpt from Buffalo Nickel.
